Cam Industrial is well positioned within the high growth material handling industry, seeking a strong and results focused individual to spearhead the development of an expanded sales team within Alberta. As the successful candidate you will grow and lead the next generation sales team, leveraging the experience and expertise of our existing senior sales team and by coordinating with marketing, design, engineering, project management, and field services teams to support your team’s development and generate positive results.

Our existing customer base is very diverse; from small to very large multi-national corporations stemming from a wide variety of industries. Our focus is helping industrial and commercial consumers increase productivity, reduce operating costs, and increase revenue; thereby improving their profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Growing sales by maintaining and expanding customer base and managing staff. 
  • Regional sales human resources; recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.  
  • Communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and enforcing policies and procedures. 
  • Developing or contributing to sales strategies, action plans, policies, standards, and procedures.  
  • Resolves problems, identifies trends, determines regional sales system improvements, and implements change when necessary. 
  • Establishing and achieving regional sales objectives. 
  • Forecasting requirements, preparing annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions. 
  • Maintaining existing accounts and expanding the customer base by leading the sales team, building rapport with key customers, and identifying new customer opportunities. 
  • Recommending product lines and services through understanding of consumer needs and trends, and by tracking competitor activities.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field a plus.
  • Previous sales and management experience.
