- The space optimization approach eliminates unused aisles by utilizing mobile shelving, maximizing storage space and ensuring ease of access.
- Shelves are mounted on rails and moved via a simple hand crank, enabling dynamic use of the space by creating aisles only when needed.
- Concrete depths ranging from 4 to 7 inches tailored to each room’s specifications for a precise fit.
- The project is engineered to be seismically safe, ensuring the preservation of priceless collections for generations to come.
- Once complete, the installation will enhance the museum’s storage efficiency and leave a lasting cultural legacy for British Columbia when it opens.
