Specialty Hardware’s Rack-Supported Mezzanine

Back Story
To address our client's needs in the Metal Distribution and Processing sector in Calgary, Alberta, we installed a selective pallet racking system with pigeon-hole racks to enable organized, compartmentalized storage.

This setup also created additional floor space, with a rack-supported mezzanine, which the client utilized for tasks such as depalletizing. Additionally, we implemented a pallet gate to enhance accessibility, allowing for quicker retrieval of pallets. Throughout every stage, we made sure to follow Alberta Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards, especially in obtaining the building permit. This included considerations for design evaluations, site plans, load analyses, and assessments of the fire suppression system.
