High-Speed Version
Increase order picking performance by increasing the rotational speed of the Hanel Rotomat® by up to 70%. Hanel has developed special multifunction carriers for this purpose, where articles can be picked from the lower and upper sections at the same time at the access point.
An additional integrated light barrier ensures the highest safety standards are met. Barcode scanners are incorporated for item identification, eliminating the need to enter confirmation.
The average access time is consequently reduced by up to 40%.
SAFETY BYPASS SYSTEM
In the event of a light barrier curtain or door switch fault, the Safety Bypass System is available to allow the user to continue operating carousel, until the service technician arrives. All that is required for the sliding door to be closed during operation with the Safety Bypass enabled.
Digital Picking Display
The digital picking display system enables users to find required items more easily and quickly. The system displays the item location and other relevant information to assist the operator with the transaction.
Each display provides touchscreen functionality that allows for input and confirmations. Multiple displays can be positioned across the carousel, reducing operator travel time to complete a transaction.
Compartment Indicator
To improve picking speed and accuracy, a LED display can be integrated across the work counter. When a pick is generated, the light in front of the required bin will show the pick quantity and bin sub-compartment / depth the items in stored in.
